Creativity Unleashed: Cinnamon Buns

Who knew cinnamon buns held so much creative potential?  Thank to King Arthur Flour for their recipe that inspired all this creativity.  I’ve kept the dough portion of the recipe consistent as the base for all my iterations.  The fun part is the filling!  I’ve experimented with caramel pecan, caramel apple, and honey almond along with the original recipe.  I’m eager to try maple syrup as a substitute for caramel and honey in previous iterations.  Get creative and try your own invention!  Happy cooking!

Happy 100 Fenway

Fenway Park in Boston, MA celebrated its centennial this April.  This ballpark, built in 1912, has served as not just the home to the Boston Red Sox but a baseball mecca of sorts.  Raised as a baseball fan first and a Milwaukee Brewers fan second, I now relish my time watching games at Fenway.  I can feel the pulse of Boston when walking into the park .  Its a piece of baseball home for me.

I am writing to you as a voter in your district. I urge you to vote “no” on cloture for S. 968, the PROTECT IP Act, on Jan. 24th. The PROTECT IP Act is dangerous, ineffective, and short-sighted. It does not deserve floor consideration. I urge my representative to vote “no” on SOPA, the corresponding House bill.

Over coming days you’ll be hearing from the many businesses, advocacy organizations, and ordinary Americans who oppose this legislation because of the myriad ways in which it will stifle free speech and innovation. We hope you’ll take our concerns to heart and oppose this legislation by voting “no” on cloture.
