I discovered this pie recipe and and when I miraculously found cherries for 99 cents, I knew I had to bake it. Without a cherry pitter, preparing the cherries took a bit longer, but with Parks and Recreation playing on Netflix in the background, it wasn’t too terrible a task. When making the crust I found I needed nearly double the amount of water listed in the original recipe. The end product is so rich with flavor without being overly sweet. It’s a real treat. Enjoy!
